Ryan Humphrey
My name is Ryan Humphrey. I was born in WI, but was raised and still reside here in Minnesota, the Land of Owls.
In 2017, after buying my first ever camera, I stumbled upon my first ever Owl, a Barred Owl. That day I absolutely fell in love with owls. And after that day I started networking with other owl lovers all over the state. I learned of all of the species that reside here, and how to look for them. And year after year I started to find more owls. The more I learned the more I found.
These days I probably spend more time looking for and photographing owls than most people spend working and sleeping. I go out during the day and during the night. I go out when other people won’t, and do it all with a passion only a few would ever understand. I am truly Owl Obsessed.
